How many chromis do you think I can have in a school? (not thinking about adding any other fishes)

In my 120 mixed reef I currently have:
1 perc clown
1 lawnmower blenny
1 bangaii cardinal
1 cleaner wrasse
1 potter's angel (small)
1 rabbitfish (big)

Also, when adding a school of chromis, would you recommend all at once, or in groups of say 4-5?

Thanks!

I like to keep them in odd number groups 3's, 5's, 7's and such.

i think 5 maybe 7 would be perfect but most times they don't school and just kill each other off til their satisfied with their numbers..but i've had 3 in my 72 and they stayed at 3. I would add them all at the same time.

There are 3 or 4 active threads in this forum about keeping chromis in groups. I'd recommend reading up on those.

The max number is whatever number you can afford. You just have to recognize that no matter what you start with, there's a reasonable chance you'll end up with 1 or 2.

ANthias are a better option if you want a school. chromis they don't school they just stay close to each other for protection util they get mature, ones tehy get mature they will kill each other
