Anyone know where I can get a start of some red "OGO" for my fudge?
New Sohal Tang is not eating "Nori", and Bob Fenner recommended this stuff (at IMAC).
Going to get some small Mysis shrimp/blood worms, since he is an omnivore, but he need's his veggies! :D
Any help appreciated.

Thanks:
Rick

Hmm I've heard of pot brownies with marijuana, but I've never heard of gracilaria (OGO) fudge. :)

Can you post better info on what (OGO) gracillaria is? I have two species of gracillaria but have never heard the term OGO.

OK, sorry...FUGE! :D, but who knows, maybe we should make some gracillaria Fudge and see what happens! Not sure I'm adventurous enough to smoke it though.

"OGO" is the Hawaiian name for red "Gracillaria".

Question is the same, any idea where I can get a start?

Thanks:
Rick

Good luck. I think i've read that some people have had a hard time culturing this.

I collect the stuff all the time in the hot part of the year here in Southwest florida. It's floating all over the beaches and often attached to rocky areas near the beach. You can keep it alive for a while under good light, but it doesn't really grow well. Ofcourse, if you are using it as a food, that shouldn't matter. My angelfish love it, and I used to have a Tang who enjoyed it also. I have some right now and can get plenty more. My E-mail is coralspc@hotmail.com if you are interested.

Lots of places sell it by the bunch and under the right lighting it should grow. Alot of people grow it in their refuges. try Drsfostersmith.com or ****************
