i've been having this purple + bubbles algae on my sand bed lately. i used to have brown, green, bubble algae before. but what is this new comer???

Not an alga my friend, but cyanobacteria. It is common to see many pigments in these prokaryotes.

What is cyanobacteria? what cause it? how to i get rid of it?

cause is most likely low flow area. another is to many nutrients. increase flow via powerhead or filter rerurn. remove: there are some chemicals available, Chemiclean, Chemipure, are the two top rated ones. the other method is net it out slowly. you may syphon, but you loose bacteria and critters hiding in your sandbed, which you need for bio. hope this helps.
