So here I am watching a ball game, minding my own business, when my ac. yongeii decides to part company with its coral base. I get up to try to solve the problem. No go. The base is truly off. I turn off the ball game, which is now over, to concentrate on my problem, and hurry. The lighting is now over to actinic. I am trying to find the stupid IC Glue, which has camoflaged itself in the equipment box.

Ok. Found the glue. Pull the frag from the water (this is the guy known as the green bali slimer for a reason) and liberally glue the bottom after blotting it on my sleeve. I count to a hundred over the blob of glue, shove the frag underwater, just make contact with the rock---rock tries to go over, dumps the orange cap onto the sand and the just-glued slimer onto the fox, narrowly missing the clam. The lights go out totally. Which turns out to be the only light there is since I cut off the ball game. I start yelling.

Help arrives. Room lights go on while I'm up to my armpit in water. I retrieve the frag, which fortunately fell slimy side down, from the irate fox (the one I've been rehabbing), and press the slimer back in place. I think it's holding. I'm going to have to check it later. The orange cap is going to have to lie there until morning. I'm not jostling the slimer until then.

Thank you: vent accomplished. I'm much better now.

lol! Sk8r, sounds like one of my day/nights or whenever that piece of rock finaly has a home, i let go and it lands upside down on the geoniapora. that rock had my softball sized yellow toadstool on it. REEF-ON!!!

They said" Smile, things could get worse" I smiled, and sure enough, things got worse.!

Now I can laugh. ;) At least, contrary to the butter-side-down rule, the gluey end of the frag did NOT land on the fox or the clam!
