Is it appropriate to raise calcium(360) with the calcium supplement of randy's 2 part or Kent's CaCl? My alkalinity is high at 12 with a PH 7.8-8.0 (probably due to excess Co2 in the home) with venting in fresh air is not a real option? Also, where can I find the article on making the solutions? Thanks.

Yes you can just dose the calcium portion.
Here is the article.

will adding CaCl also lower alkalinity or cause a dramatic change in it?

The calcium part is a perfect way to boost calcium and not alkalinity. It will not lower alkalinity until corals use that alkalinity and calcium.
