Typically, are these corals slow growers?

I just bought a frag with 3 heads. Anyone have experience on how fast these corals produce new heads?

actually, they grow pretty quickly, I had one that would grow a new ring of heads about every other month, even without feeding

If you feed them they grow really fast. I started with 6 heads and in a year had 60-75 heads on it...fraged it down to 10 heads and in another 7 months before I got rid of it it looked like this.

Did you feed daily?
What did you feed? Right now I have mysis.
Will they only eat when their tenacles are out?

I feed them basically just mysis. You can train them to extend their tenicals durring the day by feeding them with the lights on. Turn off your pumps and put a little bit on the inner oral disk. Once they realize there is food they will extend their tenticals. If you start feeding them directly like this every other day or so after about six months mine just started putting out their tenicals 24/7. In that pic the lights are on and you can see most of them have their tenicals out.
