I order a Ushio 10K 150 watt bulb and they sent me a 14K bulb. I don't know about you guys but I'm not sure that this is even a 14K bulb. I'll let you decide

And for fun

I accidentally broke off a protion of my monti cap so I took the piece out and glued them back together. I got a little crazy with the glue (no pun intended) which is why the end is stripped, it will grow back over in no time IMO

I think the new Ushio 14K gives off a nice white with a hint of blue. If you go with there 10K you might wish you had kept this bulb. It's going to be more yellow and needs actinics.

I think it looks good however it didn't remind me of what a 14K should look like. I will give it a couple of days and see what it burns into.

Keep the bulb 10 k would be too yellow/ white without actinics. That actually has a nice color. Not too blue, not too white.
