Hi, I am just wondering if its normal to have "pods" bloom like crazy in my newly setup tank. The Algae cycle has passed, but now my water looks like it has a lot of "Particulates" in them. On a closer look, they were moving. Is this part of the cycling?

Very normal, they will top out, then die back to a steady state. AS in nature, it will be survival of the fittest. Once they stabilize, depending on the size of your tank, you may then consider a Pod eating type fish, such as a mandarine or other dragonettes. That is, if that's the type of fish you wish to raise. You really need a huge tank for those though. NOthing smaller than about a 90 gallon I would presume.
Good luck.
