Hello,

I am looking for some lobsters, what speices are available that will survive in cool to warm water (anywhere for 60 - 80 degrees). I would like something that gets large, and I can dedicate a tank to them.

Someone suggested spiny lobsters, and I may try them. I would like some alternatives as I really like the conventional lobsters (claws).

Thanks in advance for any help!

Look into the genus Enoplometopus. Liveaquaria.com carries two species. These don't get huge, have easily met dietary requirements, are are attractive. You will probably only be able to get one because most lobsters are quite territorial.
