Starting a new 10 gallon nano tank with 10lbs live rock.

Skimmer installed

Sand bed

Power Compact Lighting

No live stock yet as the live rock is curing.

Now I'm wondering what to put inside?

Anybody have opinions on what's really cool for 10 gallon life stock?

as for corals, I will only add shrooms or Xenia,

Sk8r, the Yellow Watchman looks so cool. Ok that's definetly on the top of my "to get" list!

Thank you

Shrimp goby paired with a Pistol Shrimp. There are a bunch of combos. Yellow watchmen included

How about a Yellow Clown Goby and a Yasha shrimp goby paired with a yasha shrimp?

Shrimp/goby pairs are wonderful, I love my orange-spot and his tiger pistol.
If you're looking for something colourful and interactive, what about an ocellaris or percula clown? The more I spend time with my clowns, the more I'm addicted to their funny little personalities :)

I'm really loving the idea of a Yellow Watchman Goby with a Pistol Shrimp.

This combo really does it for me, thank you all for your ideas. I was orginally thinking two clowns, or dotty back maiting pair, or watchman with firefish, however, I'm sold on the symbiosys that these two have, especially with my white sand bed and live rock for them to make a home of their choosing.

Will most likely order from saltwaterfish.com

Tiger pistol with Yellow Watchman. The Yasha shrimp goby is also rather breath taking!

Which way should I go? Yasha or Yellow Watchman? Marinedepotlive says the Yasha should be paired with the 'Randalls' Pistol Shrimp. In fact all the shrimp gobies are phenominal!

I vote for Yasha Goby with Randalls Shrimp, and maybe a Yellow clown Goby ( I just love them!)

Just Dave those pictures (your tank) is truly beautiful.

May I ask what equipment you are running on it? Tank specs?

Also, any advise on what your Yasha Gobies prefer to eat?

This is what I have for my nano.

Current USA 20" Power Compact Satellite 40 watt 10k and 40 watt actinic

Bakpak 2 skimmer (was just laying around)

10 lb live rock (currently curing)

Rio (smallest one) for current

3" sand bad (currently being activated with small scoops of active sand from my mature 60 gallon tank)

I may get a Redsea wavemaker with two maxis

Will be adding Chaeto next week to the nano

I have a 5.5 with a yellow watchman goby and tiger pistol shrimp.

Some suggestions,

Gobies are jumpers, you'll need some sort of lid. Eggcrate isn't adequate, my previous hi fin goby jumped right through the eggcrate :( .

The shrimp are active diggers and need lots of construction materials. I put 2" of crushed shells and rubble in the tank and topped it with sand. If they don't have supplies they'll improvise which includes burying frags if possible.

Also because of the digging any rock should be firmly on the bottom glass.
