Closed Loop? for Sequence Dart

My CL intake is 1.5" predrilled and my OM 4 way is plumbed for 4 x 1" returns under my tank.

Am I restricting too much flow if I go w/ Dart since the intake is 2" and out is 1.5"? I would hate to run this pump too hot and use unnecessary electricity.

Should I go w/ barracuda? intake 1.5"

The Dart can use a 1.5" intake just fine. The pump even comes with the fitting you need to do this. It may not work well if the output was totally unrestricted but it isn't so you should be fine.

The dart will be fine. It's exactly what I am doing. I have a 1.5" to 2" adapter right at the intake for the pump. Then my OM is 1.5" in w/ 4 1" outs. I just chose the drum that allows 1.5 of the OM returns to be open at once.

The barracuda is overkill unless your running a monster! The Dart is perfect for my mine, however, I'm looking into a couple revolutions to randomize the flow a tad:)
