I wanted to get everybody's opion on which calcium reactor you would rather have a Schuran or a Geo. The tank will most likely not be a heavy stocked SPS but who knows. It is mostly clams, LPS, softies and some SPS but the calcium load has gotten to the piont where I think that a calcium reactor would come in handy. If anybody thinks that a kalkreactor would easily be able to handle the demand and would be easier to keep going than a calcium reactor please let me know. The 2 that I am trying yo decied between is the Geo 624 or the 818 and the Shuran Jet stream 1. Thanks, Tim

My tank is at the 7 month mark and limewater alone cannot maintain calcium and alk levels. For this reason, I would scratch off a limewater reactor as a replacement for a calcium reactor. Since you are looking into SPS, eventually you may reach this point as well.

I am currently shopping around for a calcium reactor. I have my eyes on a GEO and a Korallin. I would like to go GEO, but have a hard time finding anyone with them in stock (618).
