I am just about complete with my tank stand. For the bottom I was going to put a shelf in to hold my 40 gal sump(about 2 inches off the ground) and stuff when I thought that I had an easier idea. Could I flip the stand over and just put a 3/4 inch sheet of plywood on the bottom?
I would than seel the whole bottom and than not have to worry about a weight issue if it was raised a little bit off the bottom.
I am just worried about the weight of the sump and anything else I put down there. If anyone else has a different way they did it please let me know.
