I have a 210 tank and intend on holding some of the easier SPS corals. From what I have gathered from forum members of ReefCentral I think that I should go with the GEO Skimmer. So I am going to order the skimmer, and the CO2 tank, but do I need to buy this here or something like it to control everything?

let me know I guess what I need to purchasae. Pictures and links would be appreciated. Where did you buy your calcium reactor and all of its necessary components.

Thanks for all of your help.

John

GEO skimmer or GEO reactor? They are two totally different items. You need the reactor, controller, media for the reactor, CO2 tank, CO2 tank regulator, and a wee bit more research. The package Drs Foster and Smith looks pretty good.....

If you want perhaps the easiest to use as far as opening and accessability, the GEO is nice. If you want the best in 'set and forget', look into korallin. If you want the best as far as output of calcium, look into deltec.

Sorry I meant the calcium reactor not the skimmer, does that package look like it will do well with that reactor or do you recommend something different.

you can get a milwaukee pH controller and probe for $100, for our purposes, just as good as the pinpoint. Then for the reg, this is something that most places will throw in for much cheaper when you buy the reactor. That package is overpriced IMO, you should be scoring a CO2 bottle or more for that price. Check out marine depot or premium aquatics yet?
