SO what I just rinse it out and stick it in the bag it came with and stick it in the fuge?

Yeah, rinse the heck out of it, there will be alot of black dust.
I usually rinse it out and move my hands over it, then once the water comes out clear, I shake it up and down and more dust will come out of it.
Just rinse really well.
