Just curious. Why do some prefer hard plumbing to soft plumbing, soft plumbing meaning flexible hose? Seems like bendable hose would be the easiest. But then again, I don't have enough experience to know the difference!:p
Thanks

I normally have soft plumbing unless my mood changes and then it becomes hard.

I prefer flexible tubing because the soft tubing has a wider radius around bends - resulting in better water flow in tems of GPH. I also live in an earthquake area - soft tubing won't break as quickly as hard tubing if the tank shifts/slides in a quake.

I like the look of hard plumbing, tubing looks messy to me ... I;m not sure what's the difference though. You probably would loose less GPH due to pressure with soft plumbing because it wouldn't be such sharp angles.
