Thanks to your advise, I'm setting up a Yasha Goby/ Randall's Pistol Shrimp 10 gallon nano.

Tank is ready and done cycling, now ordering live stock.

Would love to see your setups!

Your tank is beautiful, going through your build thread now.

Do you have any advise on which shrimp would do better with a Yasha Goby or gobies in general?

Randalls or Tiger?

You're going to pay a premium for the yasha/randalls pair. My LFS had a pair for $80. They're also small critters and will be dwarfed in a ten gallon tank if they're the only inhabitants.

Bought my tiger and yellow watchman separately and they paired up quickly. An unpaired shrimp cost $10, fish was $20. I've never had a Randalls but the tiger is pretty indiscriminate. He was paired with a Hi fin goby until it jumped :( .

BTW, I highly recommend the layer off rubble/shells under the sand. Pistol shrimp are active builders and needs lots of construction materials. I lost a couple of nice frags to subterranean construction in their previous tank  .
