Hi!

I was a gift from someone who said he had to many of my kind and I am supposed to be an offspring of anemones that have my color but are about 20-40cm diameter. I myself are about 10cm diameter and look like this:

My color is mainly violet with very short green tentacles. If you turn me head over food I am violet as well.

Can ou tell me what I am?

Anemone no.
Perhaps a Corallimorpharian.

I agree with ricordia. Look just fine to me and is pooping. What is its actual color?

I thought about a ricordia myself for a while, but at that size? The others had at least 20 cm, that is 200% of what I ever heared.

Why not doing fine?

The Color is violet with neon green tentacle endings.

If it is a ricordea, can I feed it?

As a general rule you can feed anything with a mouth.

I'd say it could certainly be some form of corallimorph. I doubt it is ricordia though. What makes it look "not healthy?" Two things look wrong to me. First is the gaping mouth, the other is the lack of shape to the oral disk. The oral disk is usually not limp like that.

I have seen "hairy mushrooms" as much as 30cm in diameter so it is possible.

That is a ricordia yuma from indonesia. They are not one of the easier yumas to keep. Often times, they have a tendancy to fade slowly away. It's 100% not an anemone.

If it's Ricordea yuma (or other type of corallimorph) don't place it directly under intense lighting.
