thinking about to get a 150 W XM bulb 10K.
which ballast should i use?

that's where i am trying but i don know which ballast to go with. can you help me out?

If in doubt get an electric ballast they run anything. Just make sure you get a DE lamp holder and reflector.

why use DE instead of SE?

Isn't that bulb a DE?
