Horrible....
From what I've read the damage seems somewhat localized. However, Sipadan is definitely a tiny island and even localized damage can have a huge impact. Ironic that the government recently (last year I think) put severe restrictions on diving on the island and required all the dive shops to relocate...in order to protect the local ecosystem (above and below water).
