If the mantle of my crocea touches part of the live rock, because of how it is placed, is it posible that this could cause negative effects to the clam? I'm not sure it would be much a problem for the clam, they are burrowing clams. Just want other peoples thoughts. Maybe someone has some experience with this situation.

I have never noticed a problem with it.

Should not be a problem.

These clams, in the wild, bore into rock. I dont think them touching rock would be a problem.

Crocea's mantles are the largest of all the giant clams. Sometimes so big that you can't even see the clam. Mine has attached itself to a rock and the mantle is spread out over it. So I agree that this shouldn't be a problem at all.

no problems! even if there were, the clam would adjust itself and move a little. All three of mine are touching rocks.
