We got our new IceCap 80mm canopy fan today. It didn't come with any instructions. I don't want to start carving holes in my canopy without some help. Does anyone have instructions for this unit? I looked at IceCap's website: nothing.

I would mount it on one end blowing in and provide an exit hole at the opposite end or high up on the back or top as far away as possible. One fan may not be sufficient though, I use two 120mm fans blowing in with 4" holes on top.
To mount it use a 3" hole saw to make the hole.

Does your fan have the variable speeds for differnt temperatures?

I don't think it has variable speeds but it has a sensor that tells it when it's time to kick on. The box has some bolts and things but no specific instructions. A bit frustrating.

I have 2 80mm Ice cap fans that have 3 different speeds. Th first speed is slow, then once my canopy reaches a certain temp the fans get faster and then full force once temp reaches a certain degree.

Did the fans come with the A/C box and plug?
