I am looking for advice on what to replace my hydrometer with. I am wanting something easy to use but more accurate.

The Pinpoint is a little pricey but I could probably convince the spouse I need it... But now there are mini hand-held versions like the JBJ Digi-lab and something else by Aqua-Mate that are cheaper. I found them on Ebay and at a few stores. Anyone use these?

......Or should I just get a refractometer?

Thanks.

Well, the digitals are convenient, but you need to keep 'em calibrated regularly.
