Hello,

I've got a 180 FOWLR tank and it's currently populated as:

10 B/G chromis, 3 small Clownfish, a med YT, med Bannerfish, and a med/lg Naso (also have a SF eel).

OK, I've got a friend who is breaking down a 335 gallon tank and he's got several fish I'd be interested in. One is a Sohal Tang and it's probably a bit larger than my Naso.

How do you think that will go over? Two Tangs of similar shape / size in a 180? I'm thinking the tank may be a bit too small for this, but wanted to check and get some opinions.

Also, may get two Regal Tangs - they are small / med and I don't think they'd be an issue, but again, figured I'd check.

Comments?

thanks,
Chris

Sohal tangs are very territorial and will probably fight with a naso tang in a 180. The regals, naso, and sohal will all get very big and even if they don't fight at first they will probably start fighting as they get bigger and fight for territory. Not a good idea imo.

yes sohals are very aggressive and territorial. I wouldnt put that in a 180 along with a naso. I wouldnt attempt it.
