Does anyone know of a thread or article that compares different brands of salt mix?

you might try www.premiumaquatics.com or just go with Instant Ocean or Reef Crystals. they are the best on the market. 16 yrs. with IO and counting. they have been making salt for over 40 yrs. REEF-ON!!!

There are articles on salt mixes, but i cannot find any links, sorry.

TM Pro Reef is an exceptional salt(if you are going to spend extra on R.C. from I.O. then just get this).....although i have just been told that it is not reccomended to use this salt when running ozone....

Randy,

What is your opinion About Oceanic's new salt mix?

I do not care for the elevated calcium and magnesium, and the intentionally reduced/left out strontium and borate. I've not seen an analysis of other ions, but they seem to not be interested in matching NSW as a goal.
