I am looking for a pump for a new sump I am building. I need something that pushes 600gph after 3' of head. I know I'll probably have to buy this, but I thought I'd ask and see if anyone had something used and inexpensive lying around.

Thanks!

I've got a spare mag 9.5. Very clean, and works well.

I've been weeding the submersible pumps out of my system. If you're going to end up purchasing an external pump, I'm very pleased with my 2 pan world pumps, and I would recommend them to anyone.

I just put an Eheim 1260 on my system and could not be happier. Low energy consumption, strong flow and very quiet. It is a great pump.

Good choice. I love the ehiems! As a matter of fact, I use one in the watercooling loop in my work computer. I wouldn't trust my computer to any other pump (well, maybe an iwaki)

They are a largely understated pump. They have changed very little since the 80's, and there's a pretty good reason.

That sounds like exactly what I am looking for.

That picture gave me the urge to spend some cash on the PC... lol.

Are you looking for submersible or an inline? I have some inlines, a T1 and a Pan World 200 PS and an Iwaki 70RLT I can part with...

Denise, I need a pump for my 265g. One of the Pan World or Iwaki. I'll call you for details. SUe

I'm not sure Denise. I have a submersible now, is an inline hard to setup?

I must cast my vote for the Eheims as well. Either a 1260 or 1262. A little more expensive but certainly nice pumps.
