My first batch of Kalkwasser, now what?

I know that I dont want to pour the sediment into my sump but what about that film thats on the top of the water? What should I do with it?

ok great article and definatly something I want ot make soon but when I would fill the dripper with the kalk water I made what about the thin film thats on top of the mixture, is it ok if it gets poured into the dripper?

The siphon breaks and very little of the surface water will be dosed into the tank.
