My LFS told me that on monday they will be getting a sharknose goby in. I have seen pictures of them but haven't seen them in real life. I would like to get one but could I keep him with the fish in my tank? I have a Black Percula Clown and a Bicolor Blenny. I plan on moving the Bicolor up to my 90 gallon once he gets to big. Since the sharknose goby only gets 1.6 inches or something like that I think he might be able to go in my tank. Would this be overstocking?

... just out of curiosity how big has your Bi-Color gotten? How long have you had him?

wow ... and you're already thinking of a 90 gal. for him?! ... I have had mine for quite some time prob 1.5 years and he's full grown at like 3.5 inches in a 29 Gal.

They are very intelligent and I believe they can sense things ... they have a lot of personality but take time to become adjusted to their owners. They are kinda like the cats and not dogs of fish.

but do you think I can have a sharknose goby in thier. I know 3 fish in a 12 gallon might be pushing it, but sharknose gobys are very small.

It should be fine. Just monitor your nitrates for a while to make sure your bio-load isn't too high.
