what type of lights do i need to get this shade of blue/purple?

he says he has 250 watt HQI
bulbs and 2-42 watt NO actinc bulbs. but i dont understand wich of the bulbs produces that color or what name brand he has.
yellow light hurts my eyes so i was wanting an acro tank like that one.


also, is there a small skimmer that i can fit in a 24g aquapod? i had posted this question in the newbie section but i couldnt find it =(

Lighting has a affect on the colors, but the colors can also be natural. The color rating of the halide will have a part in coloration of corals and fish.

For the skimmer, I would look here, maybe you can find something here.http://www.nanocustoms.com/catalog/
