Just ordered this: http://www.thatpetplace.com/Products/KW/F38DD/Class/Aquarium+Lighting+Metal+Halide+HQI+Fixtures/T1/F38DD+0434+0086/EDP/45898/Itemdy00.aspx

what are the pros and cons? Does any one have pics of their tank using this setup? Shouldn't be too many limitations s to what I can keep as far as corals right?

Thanks for the input/

What size tank would this go over? And how deep is it?

I would have gone bigger like 250 watt halides instead.
The 150 watters are good for tanks up to 20 inches deep with mixed coralsand a few SPS. The 250's are good for tanks up to 30 inches deep and for Mixe corals SPS, clams.
I have 2 250 watt halides over my 90 with SPS,LPS, softies, clams etc and I have no limitations to what I can keep.
With thw 150's you will be limited to what you can keep unless you place the coral high in the tank.

So if I get my 4" DSB should be good then, that would be 20"

Lighting intensity and penetration is what you want, in my opinion for you to not be limited in coral selection 250's would be my choice.
Even with the 150's and the tank only being 20" deep with the sand bed, The 150's can only support Mixed corals, and some SPS, clams that are placed high up in the tank.
If ou had 250's you wouldnt have aproblem with placement near the bottom.
They can work, just make sure to place the higher light demanding corals near the top.

I thinking of going with 250W HQI for my 46G bowfront. What bulb should i go with since i won't be running any other lights?

Since you are only going to be running Halides I would go with a 14 or 15 Kelvin rating. The bluish hue of the bulb will take place of actinic supplements.

Since differnt bulb companys have different colorations, you might wantto see what company you want to go with.
You can have a hamilton bulb at 14K and a ushio at 14K and one could be more blue than the other.

I just bought Orbit's T-5 model. My only complaint is how noisy the fan is. Other than that, I couldn't be happier....so far.
