i just got a pan world 100px-x with 1" MPT inlet and outlet. i went to lowes and many other places and all of the female PVC parts dont really want to screw on that far. has anyone used that PVC on these pumps or do i need to order some other type of PVC with the right threading. thanks as always for the help

only about 4 threads when i put 2 parts from lowes together i got about 8 threads.

Mine seem to go on just fine... They are tight, but I get them sucked down with out a hitch... Make sure the threads on the pump are in good shape. Someone may have had the pump first and put something on with the wrong pitch, or there could be a bur or something hanging up the threads.

threads are all good. this is a brand new pump no one should have had it before me.
