Just want to be sure ... the place I get my stuff has tons of corals, but they have bad record as far as naming goes ...

I figure it probably is colt, but just closed down right now (if that's possible ...). I got it just a couple hours ago.

Hard to tell exactly what it is since it hasn't opened up yet. One thing you should know about colt is that colt is really just a general name for any soft, slimy, branching coral. The genuses Cladiella, Alcyonium, Capnella, Litophyton, Nephthea, and Lemnalia all contain corals that are frequently refered to as colt.

I had a "Colt" that was no where near that size it kind of looked like that. I'm not the greastest id person but that almost looks like a Dendronephthya (carnation coral). Hopefully some one who is better at IDing can chime in.
