what do you think this is worth?

im thinking of upgrading my skimmer. the one i have now works great but really is too small for my system. its a duel down draft skimmer(etss knock off) that i converted to beckett, and i also made it a recirculating beckett( if any one intrested how i did it just let me know). but i think its time to upgrade and i dont know what to ask for it. i paid $700 for it new(with out the pump)and its about 1 1/2 years old. its about 4' tall

I just bought a similar looking style and skimmer, but with the addition of its recirculating for $490.

MR-2R. www.myreefcreations.com and is rated for a 500 gallon tank.

When I was looking I would have paid 200 - $250 for the one shown above... More than that and you can get a reputal brand named MRC product brand new....

Throwing in the needed pump etc... might help you move it faster etc...

Looking back at your pictures and relaing its size to the tub its in I think the skimmer is bigger than I first thought....

mine more closely matches the MR-6R that sells for $875. they rate that one at 1450g (i dont see it, i think that is way high)
