Hi, I have a 12 gallon aquapod and the params test good. I am ready to add corals and I would like to see some pictures of your nano tanks to get ideas. Any help would be apreciated. Thanks.

I am sure you will get replies, but if you search back 5-10 pages you should find a lot of peoples nanos.

The problem is that the search feature rarely works anymore - unless you're a paid member.

Do the old fasion way and search through the pages of the nano forum.

It's just a stock NC DX w/ a cassette skimmer mod, an MJ 900 for the pump. I do 2 gal WC's every week, dose daily a couple drops each Ocean's Blend A & B, nothing in the back chambers except a Jebo-jager heater, and a small piece of Magnavore Pura Pad which I clean every day.
Those pics are from when I first set it up, I have since changed the bulbs and changed a few corals that outgrew it into my 65.
here are some from this weekend.

Between you and the guy who responded first to this thread...what is up with you guys? I wonder why some people even bother to respond at all.. so condescending..sheesh. Lighten up!;)
Yes it is a 12 gal nano cube DX, and stock lighting. I bought it used and was'nt sure how old the bulbs were, so I replaced them in february. Thank you for the kind words.

Waterfaller1-

Did you buy JBJ replacement bulbs or another brand? I'm looking to replace my bulbs and was wondering what people's opinions are on the best replacement bulbs for the NanoCube 12DX.

grrrr I don't get it, I have 20k halides, my tank is a beautiful blue with vibrant colors and my stupid camera makes everything YELLOW! What cameras are you all using?

hgbarwick
06/03/2006, 07:45 PM
well on my 90 gallon I just used a regular digital camera

fishbabies
06/03/2006, 09:09 PM
All my photos have to be color adjusted since my camera seems to pick up on the actinic light...so most of my pix i have to add yellow so they don't look so cold blue/lavender
