No you can get different ones. Marine Depot and Dr. Foster's sell them, but I was told this is one of the best kits.

If you need a lot of the abrasive paper, it's sold in bulk at various sites. The product name is Micro-Mesh.

don't think I need a lot, I have a mag-float and an ignorant student thought it would be fun to clean the aquarium. Unfortunatly, they didn't clean the mag-float first and there must have been some sand in it.

I'm going to be getting rid of the 55 acrylic. Would you all advise me to remove the scratches first, or sell it as is? They aren't bad, mainly surface scratches on the inside of the tank.

I suspect you'll get more for it if you fix it yourself. It is a lot of work, in my experience.

In addition to the places others have mentioned ... most places that specialize in selling plastic/acrylic will sell kits for removing scratches.
