Well i have heard for the most part that snails laying eggs in the aquarium will not lead to baby snails. But lately I have noticed about 15 to 20 new baby snails in my tank. I dont know if the type of snails they are have anything to do with it but they are Banded Trochus snails or (trouchus sp).

There is this type of alage looks sorta like kelp growing in the back of the tank. I couldnt see it from the front soo i just left it alone and its a decent size. Is it possible that since the baby snails had a place to hide they all didnt get eaten or picked off by the fish? Iam pretty happy about this since i dont have to go out and by new snails now.

I was just wondering if this would be possible. thanks!

Some people have gotten Trochus snails to reproduce in their aquarium. I think mine did. The other possibility is hitchhikers.
