I got a quad over a 10 and would think if it was about 8-10 inches off the smaller tank should be fine with a few fans just remember the evaporation rate Also the length of the quad is like 18 inches or something close. So you would have to step down and use some stainless to focus the light to the tank. All in all it isnt worth the work, move your stuff to a 10 gallon from wally world they cost like 10 bucks. I would also agree you should put a better subject on the message as well.
