Well, my Dad bought this tank with the intention to replace his current tank, but instead he decided to sell the house and the new house will have room for a much, much, much larger tank. :D (That is if I can get him to go for it.) Anyway, the tank was used once as a reef so you shouldn't need to worry about copper and it comes with an oak stand that needs just a little work to finish it. I've also got some lumber to give you a head start on a canopy. $300

Hehe! Nah! Eric is already hooking me up with something. I really cant take the 125 even if was free. It will just sit empty for a long time before I got around to it. Bigger tank will mean a bigger skimmer, more lights, bigger sump, more flow, and missing work to go to court for my divorce hearing.

Although, they say a tank should be replaced after 10 years. Mine is about that old now so......must......resist.....

I have a feeling I'd take it if it was free.

Sorry Russ, I would gladly give it to you for free if it was mine, but alas it's not. However I will gladly help you build the canopy if you want it. ;)

OK, you Colorado people don't know how good you got it. My old 125 (non drilled) Is consigned by the guy who bought it from me. It has the tank, a Petsmart canopy and a nice stand, T5 lights a 18 gallon tank for a sump and a remora pro skimmer. The LFS has it priced at $1399.00
Here you have a RR 125 with stand and a 55 gallon sump for 300 and no takers. I should have gotten a much bigger house.

I hate to do it but if this baby doesn't sell, I'll be using it as a sump... (what a waste of a RR tank...)

I really did almost buy it though. It was a decision between a 125 or Tunze. Tunze will be here next week.

Grim Reefer just added some icing to this cake!!!
72" 250 watt HQI system, EVC e-ballasts with about 6 months of use on them. It can sit on or hang above the tank and he's also throwing in a brand new Via Aqua skimmer for the sump. Light and skimmer for 500 bones... He's open to trades on the light too. That's 800 bucks for a 125 RR w stand, 55 gallon for sump, HQI lighting and a skimmer.

Too bad you aren't closer to me I'd be very tempted. How does the black tank look on an oak stand? Can I see a pic of the stand?
calvin415

The stand's trim covers the black trim of the tank so all you see is the glass and oak. Of course the top trim is still shown since there isn't a canopy, but one could be made to match the cabinet very easily. I'll try to get some pics this weekend. If someone wants to up the price a bit, I'd be glad to build a matching canopy and build better door than are currently on it.
