that would be a cool combo but i don't think i have a deep enough sand bed for the pistol shrimp. It's only about 1" deep. most sites say they should have a dsb so they can make their tunels, but if neone has an experience otherwise let me know.

Catalina goby is a cold water species and court jester needs a larger tank with an established sandbed and filamentous algae.

From your list I would choose:
onyx clown
purple firefish
clown or neon goby

My choice:
ORA black Clown
freidmani psuedochromis
Blenny ~ like a bicolor, or tailspot
neon or clown goby

Wow, you must like gobies. Any small peaceful fish will be great for a nano. My suggestions would be

-blenny, like a bicolored blenny
-goby or firefish
-cardinalfish, like a bangai or pajama
-small wrasse, like a six or four-lined
-clownfish

I would avoid any aggressive fish like damsels and gramma because they will more than likely pick on more peaceful fish, causing you and your fish anguish. Also, I would highly advise you to get only one species of each, even the banagais, as one will almost always wind up killing the other. I'd look for aquacultured too if you can.
