Hello I have had my tank set up for about 2 full weeks now and I have a cycling question. My new readings are:
PH 8.0
Amonia 0
Nitrites 0
Nitrates 10
Salinity 1.024
My nitrites and nitrates both went up and are now dropping down. My PH pretty much stayed the same throughout the 2 weeks. Now my question, My amonia has not gone above 0 the whole time. Do I need to wait or is there something I can do to help the amonia start to cycle?
The live rock I purchased was pre cured, my live sand was the packaged natures own LS. And my water was RO water from my LFS. My LR has very little algae on it that has just started to grow. Im not in any hurry to put anyhing in my tank but im just curious about adding a cleaning crew to help with the algae.http://reefcentral.com/gallery/data/1/110010Algae.jpg
