here is my problem. i have a 135 gal tank for a year with a few soft corals ( mushrooms, leather, and some polyps) and a few fish( tangs, firefish, and damsels). i love my tank and wont to add to it, but i like the fish more than the corals. i plan to add a mated pair of perks allready hosting( i have this set up) an anemone. the only other fish i truly wont is a dog face puffer. this fish is one of the main reasone i got into this, that and the cast of finding nemo for my kids. i know puffers are not reef safe but have read in the rare instance that they have lived peacefully if fed very well. my question is this, can a pair of clowns help protect an anemone from a puffer if it is very well fed? i have thought of changing to a fish only tank but still want my clowns to host an anemone. thank you.

The puffer will have that anemone for lunch and there is nothing the clowns can do about it.
