i just bought another bubble coral the other day, ones large and the other ones smaller. after expanding i noticed that they are about 1mm from touching eachother, is it safe if they touch eachother? should i move one of them?

If you start noticing one shying away or not properly inflating when lights are on move them at least 5 inches away. Mine actually burst into flames when I put my Turkey Sandwich coral in the tank.

I would just watch them and move them if it becomes necessary; the signs will be obvious. If they have been okay for a few days you will probably be fine for now. But, even corals of the same genus can show aggression towards one another.

I think the true test will come with growth. The 1mm distance will get smaller and smaller as these guys continue to grow. You may be forced to move them as they become larger; but, for now just keep your eye on them.

Good luck :)
