question about cycling

if i wanted to start a 100 gal fish only without live rock which would be the best way to start.after the pumps where bought i am going to use wet dry with bio balls. what do you think would be a good way to cycle

Before answering your question, can you provide more info on your setup? For example, filtration setup, type of gravel, etc.

raw shrimp or two from your local grocery store would do the trick. but i would anwser newty as well there are some things you are probobly overlooking =)
