I would go with IO or RC salt. Oceanic doesn't have too good of a feedback.

Been using Oceanic for 2.5 years in the current reef with no problems. Alkalinity is a low but manageable. Calcium is great.

Give OceanPure a shot. It's LOADED with calcium and since my switch from IO, it's worked just beautifully. Quick dissolving too and much cheaper than even IO (I get 200gal case of four 50gal bags for $33.95 - Marine Depot).

Oceanic salt is fine to use. Their recipe has more Calcium in it then most other mixes. When a tank isn't a demending calcium tank, people will experience hich calcim problems. I've seen many tanks that have 500-600ppm of calcium while using Oceanic salt. Personally, I believe it is a fine salt to use, but not for new tanks or soft coral only tanks. I would reserve using this for SPS, Clam, and heavily stocked LPS tanks.
