ok yuma come off of its rock ( new yuma. i had it under a net for a few days and i thought it was on there well since i removed the net and it stayed on for all day yesterday

well today its compleatly gone

i checked all of the areas that stuff settels in i checked in as many of the rock works holes as i could without tearing the tnak apart

my question is

will the yuma attack to a rock in the dark and can they walk to aspot they like more

should i be worried or should i just feed the tank heavily and hope the yuma gets some ( blast food into the rocks)

will it work its way back out or is it as good as dead?

Well, if it fell upside down, it's not gonna make it. If I were you, I'd try to find it unless it's a common kind of yuma.

Try wheezing into the gap with a turkey baster and see if you can gently blow it out into the light. If there is a space where it can easily get its foot down, it will walk back into the light, sooner or later. I have a discosoma that took 4 months to move out, but move it did.

I'll bet you'll see it in a month or so, or you may start seeing its offspring.

I second the turkey baster method. Just make sure to turn all the pumps off before wheezing. You can try finding it by having actinic lighting only since the yuma will glow??

nope yuma wont glow. every day my lights dim down the daylights turn off ( even tho there on the same ballast as the actinics) and everthing but hte xenia and the yuma will glow

I'd be moving stuff and turkey basting til I found it, but I have a touch of OCD when it comes to not being able to find something I know is in there...lol Doesn't matter what it is, I tear the house apart til I find it. But that's me.....

Definitely baste every hole you can find.
