Just ran a leak test and had some drippage on some of the joints. How do I fix these?

I quess it depends on how much pressure is running through there?

The best way is by no means the easiest. But here goes.

Remove the water from the pipes and temporarily plug off all of the pipe outlets except one. Attach a shop vac to the one remaining outlet and turn it on.

Now, take the pvc cement and coat the leaky joints. the vacuum will draw the cement into the faulty joints.

You need to coordinate the removal of the suction with the application of the glue, so you don't end up sucking all of the glue to the inside of the pipe and still having a leak.

Silicone will not work very well.

Silicone won't work for crap. Use PVC glue.

Thinking I am going to go over the joints with some pvc glue and see what happens. My understanding of PVC glue is that it welds two pieces of plastic together vice "glueing." Not too sure if it will fix my problem though.

Yeah it's a real occupation. I actually retired in February from the Navy and am teaching simulators for the Hornet and Super Hornet in Virginia Beach. My flying days are over but I still "dable in the arts." :)
