I just recently upgraded my aquarium and my skimmer works really well. The intake of the skimmer is approximately 5in from the top surface of the water. I'm wondering if I should buy one of those top surface skimmers you can buy that adjusts itself by floating to the same level of the water? I have to get rid of that slick.
