Anybody know if they do well in groups? I'm hoping they will do less hiding if placed into groups.

Not unless you get a pair but good luck sexing them. I had two that were sold to me as a pair but one ended up harassing to the other to the point where I had to permanently separate them.

What size tank were they in?
