too much flow for lps?

I have a 90 gal running 3 mj1200 on a wavemaker (only two on at any given time) and a rio 2500 for return... do you think this is too much flow for an lps and softy tank? Please advice

Not at all.

I've got tons more flow than that in a smaller tank, and my LPS do fine.

i just repositioned the pumps a bit and now everything seems to be opening much nicer... seems like they were getting too much direct flow
