Hi, I got a caribbean corallimorph via the mail today and the there is a plug of tissue floating in the bag...looks like maybe it purged its guts or something....is this normal...will it survive?

its not stringy, like other stressed mushrooms have expelled, its a chunk.....and now he place where the mouth usually is is about the size of a dime....any help out there?

place him in the tank and see what happens, I have no idea what that could be, sorry

sounds stressed out. Ive heard of shrooms opening their mouths very wide when stressed. But Im no expert.

That does not sound good. I've never seen that happen. How big is this mushroom? Could it be a lesion?

can you see all the way through the mouth? if its open that wide its probably on its way out, sorry
